Services / Product Strategy
Defining what to build and why — product vision, roadmap, positioning, and the frameworks that help teams make better decisions.
Most product problems are definition problems: teams building confidently toward a target that was never validated. We help founders and product leaders sharpen what the product is, who it’s for, and what winning looks like — before roadmaps are written and engineers are assigned.
Journey maps and service blueprints make implicit assumptions explicit. A journey map traces what a customer actually does, thinks, and feels — surfacing gaps between what the team believes is happening and what users are doing. A service blueprint looks inward, mapping the internal processes and handoffs behind each touchpoint.
The point isn’t the diagram — it’s the conversation it forces. Teams that have walked through a blueprint together argue less about roadmap priorities, because they’re working from the same picture of reality.
A roadmap is a hypothesis about what matters, sequenced by what you know now. We build roadmaps that are honest about uncertainty: prioritized, tied to outcomes rather than features, and structured so new information can update the plan without a quarterly crisis. The format depends on stage — seed-stage startups and Series B product orgs need different artifacts.
Where you play determines what you build. We run competitive analysis, market segmentation, and positioning workshops so teams make explicit choices about their market rather than letting those choices get made by default. The output is a positioning framework that informs product decisions, not just marketing copy.
Strategy fails when it doesn’t travel. We design workshops, presentations, and documentation that build alignment across product, engineering, design, and leadership — not by glossing over disagreements, but by making them explicit and resolvable. Teams ship faster and with less internal friction.
