The Product
ReachEdge is a lead management and marketing automation platform at the center of ReachLocal’s suite of online marketing and reporting solutions for small and medium-sized businesses. With over 3,000 local SMB clients, it needed to be intuitive enough for business owners who aren’t marketing experts — while powerful enough to support serious digital marketing programs.
The Redesign
In spring 2016, Interactivism conducted a ground-up redesign of ReachEdge. Key objectives included making the product easier to understand and onboard, refactoring the navigation to surface previously buried core functionality, and introducing new capabilities that better supported the lead management workflow. New features included a redesigned lead inbox, lead sharing tools, a message center, and a rebuilt reporting interface with improved data visualization.
Results
The redesigned ReachEdge delivered measurable results across the board: a 120% increase in time on site, a 400% increase in average pages visited per session, and a 40% increase in annual revenue in Australian and European markets — demonstrating that a well-executed UX redesign could directly move the needle on business outcomes.
