It has come to our attention that the scam website under the URL online-techinteractivism.com is impersonating Interactivism’s name, branding, and content.
We’re looking into our options for dealing with this, but unfortunately, they seem very limited as the website is registered and hosted in China.
As far as we understand, the scam works like this:
- The company offers payment in Tether (USDT) for performing sets of seemingly small tasks, “optimizing apps”.
- After completing a set of tasks, you supposedly earn a commission, paid in USDT, for each task submitted.
- The rub is that you get what is known as combination tasks, which require depositing additional USDT to clear any minus values. These are small amounts to start with but become larger as you go.
- They communicate through WhatsApp messages.
There may be other websites from the same scammers. If you encounter a different website impersonating Interactivism, please report it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
